At 25 years old, Jessica opened Salon Beautopia in April of 2013 after having her cosmetology license for less than 3 years. She was tired of the poor salon experiences her clients were getting. She wanted all clients to LOVE their visit to the salon everytime! Over the years she listened to positive and negative feedback from her clients and made sure the feedback was in mind when opening her own salon.

Our sinks are comfortable (well... compared to the average salon sink!) They are adjustable with neck rests and foot rests.

We don't rush your shampoo. We take our time when washing our clients and try our best to give a great scalp massage.

We use a barrier cream on our clients hairline BEFORE applying color. We also have a remover for after. No one likes to leave with color on their face!

We carry products in the salon that we all use at home. We don't try to talk someone into something that wouldn't benefit them.

If you buy a product and don't like it, bring it back and exchange it for something different. Sometimes clients have a bad view on professional products because they havent found the right product for them.

Jessica has been at Salon Beautopia for 9 years. Jessica is extremely gifted with formal events and makeup as she rocks every wedding we do!
Melisa Vidal
MAKEUP ARTIST & FORMAL EVENT HAIR STYLIST
Melisa has been specializing in bridal makeup and hair since 2015.
Her love for makeup and beauty has been with her since she can remember. Everything started in her beautiful country Bolivia where she studied cosmetology. After she graduated, she moved to Rhode Island and here is where she followed her passion for weddings.
In the past, she had the pleasure to work at Sephora where she had the opportunity to learn about many different professional beauty brands.
Melisa has a modern approach to beauty. It is important to her that she really listen to each client to make sure they get what they came in for and so much more!
Ivan Cruz
HAIR STYLIST
Ivan has been at Salon Beautopia for 12 years, specializing in long lasting blowouts, color, highlights, foilayage, & precision haircuts, 15 years of experience
Ivan Cruz is an avid and dedicated hair stylist, who has shared his talents at events like Style Week in Providence and New York Fashion Week. He is certified with Brazilian Blowout and Express Keratin. He stands out for his long lasting blowouts and great attention to detail.
Ivan's goal is always to ensure that every customer leaves his chair feeling fabulous! He loves his repeat clientele and also welcomes new customers! Ivan moved to the States from Puerto Rico when he was 18 and is fluent in Spanish.
